Happy International Firefighter's Day! It's hard to believe that one year ago, on this exact date on May 4, 2015, International Firefighter's Day, we signed our first lease at 133 Evergreen Road, Suite 208, gaining for the first time on our own, a permanent office location!  Former Executive Vice-President Nathan Lyons and former Secretary/Treasurer Emily Kaskie were present and part of this monumental moment.  I want to thank them for their dedicated service to not only this Local but the professional firefighters of Jefferson County!

The site office has served our Local well, allowing for continued growth and a safe, independent location to meet from the 17 fire districts that we represent. At our April 2016 E-Board meeting, we voted to renew our lease for another 2 years. With this decision, our Local officers will be able to continue focusing on and improving upon this great Local!
